Acupuncture

  • Acupuncture is one of the commonly practiced, ancient Chinese healing therapies. It is based on the theories of Oriental Medicine. In Acupuncture sterile, hair-thin needles are inserted and manipulated at the “acupuncture points” on the skin by hands. The insertion of the needles to meridian points stimulates body’s own self-healing ability. Acupuncture works mainly on the nervous system, reduces inflammation and maintains hormonal balance to restore the normal health of body and mind.
  • Each individual had different experiences with acupuncture where the majority of people feel minute pain when the needles are inserted. However, the same set of patients may not feel similar pain with each treatment. Acupuncture is to be practiced only by Licensed Acupuncturist, after finishing the four year degree course of acupuncture. With proper treatment, Acupuncture is completely safe without any side effects.
