Healthcare System in France

During the assessment of world health care systems in 2000, the WHO stated that France has provided the "best healthcare overall" in the world. France, like many other countries in Europe, has a nationalized, universal system of healthcare provided by the French government which is mainly financed through tax revenue. The public sector owns and manages approximately 62% of the French hospitals. The remaining is being split between the private sectors, composing non-profit and profitable facilities.

 

Quality of Healthcare in France

France provides its citizen and international patients with the world’s highest quality healthcare as suggested by WHO while ranking France’s healthcare system. With facilities staffed with highly qualified providers and housing some of the latest technology, France is one of the most important medical hubs in the world. The country offers customized treatments to suit every patient’s needs, state-of-the-art facilities, blood recycling rather than using blood banks and some of the most advanced medical facilities of the world.
