Developing Lean Culture
Progress, in any field, is never linear. The plans, which succeeded before need not succeed today. Strategies keep changing with times. The role of management today is entirely different than what it was a decade back. Teamwork and engaging people at every level is now a key to success. Thus, lean culture has to start at the very beginning i.e. right at the level of hiring people and should be practiced by everyone right from the top management to the lowest level employee in the organization. Work environment, knowledge & experience, attitude, leadership etc are all important elements of lean culture.
